# How do I delete an exhibitor who has cancelled, or no longer requires access.

In FFAIR, we do not have a traditional "delete" function. Instead, we use **archiving** to remove exhibitors from the system, which revokes their access while keeping their data securely stored. Archiving an exhibitor ensures they can no longer log in or access the event platform, but their information is retained for record-keeping purposes.

### **How to Archive an Exhibitor:**

1. Log into your FFAIR portal.
2. **Temporarily pause integrations (if applicable):** If you use an active data sync, briefly toggle it off in Show Settings before archiving to enable "Archive" option in the Exhibitors page.
3. Go to the **Exhibitors page.**
4. Find the exhibitor you wish to archive.
5. Click the **'select' box** to the left of the exhibitor name.
6. Now click on the **3-dot menu** that has appeared at the top-right of the Exhibitors list.
7. Click **Archive**. **Confirm** the action to archive the exhibitor.
8. **Re-enable integrations (if applicable):** Turn your integration(s) back on once you are done.

Once archived, the exhibitor will no longer have access to the system.

Before archiving an exhibitor, we suggest **changing the stand number** for that exhibitor to something like "Archived 1," "Archived 2," etc. This step will free up the original stand number for use by another exhibitor.
