How to set a 'pop-up' message

The 'pop-up' feature allows you to set a message to show immediately when your exhibitors log in. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Create your Pop-up Section

First, create the message you want to appear as a section in your Show Info manual.
This can include text, images, links or any content you want exhibitors to see as soon as they log in.

Step 2: Set the Section as a Pop-up

On the main Show Info page, hover over your selected section so that a group of icons appears on the right-hand side.

Select the Pop-up icon, which looks like this:

If the section doesn’t yet have any Build Types assigned, a prompt will appear asking you to select one or more Build Types to assign the pop-up to.

You’ll see a confirmation message like this:

The following Build Types will be added to this section:
[Build Type 1]
[Build Type 2]
Are you sure you want to proceed?

Click Confirm to continue.

Step 3: Manage Build Type Assignments

Each Build Type can only have one Pop-up Section assigned.

If you try to assign a Pop-up to a Build Type that already has one, you’ll see this message:

“The following Build Types already have a Pop-up assigned. Please select a different Build Type:”
[Build Type 1]: Section Title 1
[Build Type 2]: Section Title 2
Are you sure you want to unassign the currently selected Pop-up?

If you remove the only Build Type from a section with a Pop-up, a confirmation message will appear:

“There is a Pop-up enabled for this section. Removing all build types will disable it. Are you sure you want to continue?”

You can open the Pop-up modal at any time to update the connected Build Types. The number of Build Types assigned will display next to the Pop-up icon for easy reference.

Step 4: Exhibitor View

Exhibitors will now only see the pop-up linked to their Build Type when they log in.

If multiple Build Types are assigned to the same section, exhibitors with any of those Build Types will see the pop-up.

This means Space Only exhibitors can see a different message to Shell Scheme exhibitors, sponsors can have their own pop-up, and so on — making your communications more targeted and relevant.
