Creating Discount Codes for Exhibitors

Discount Codes let suppliers offer price reductions to exhibitors during checkout. They’re useful when you want to give a special rate to certain exhibitors, offer a promotion on selected product categories, or apply a fixed or percentage discount for a limited time. As a supplier, you can control how the code works — including the amount, which categories it applies to, how many times it can be used, and when it expires. Discount Codes can be created for an individual show, or set globally so they apply to all future shows you supply.

 

Create a Discount Code

1. Open the Discount Codes section

For a single show:

1. Go to Show Settings.

2. Scroll to Discount Codes.

For all future shows (Global):

1. Go to Supplier Settings.

2. Open Discount Codes.

2. Click “Add Discount Code”

This opens the Discount Code creation pop-up.

3. Enter the Discount Code

1. In the Discount Code field:

   • Type at least 6 characters, OR

   • Click Generate to auto-create a 6-character code

2. If the code already exists anywhere in the system, you’ll see an error.

4. (Optional) Limit by Product Category

1. Open the Category dropdown.

2. Select one or multiple categories.

3. If you leave this empty, the discount applies to all products.

5. Choose the Discount Type

1. Open Discount Type.

2. Select Percentage or Fixed amount.

3. Enter the discount value in the Discount field.

The placeholder updates based on your selection.

6. Set the Usage Limits (optional)

The toggle defaults to Unlimited.

If you switch to Limited:

1. Enter a Limit per Stand.

2. Enter a Limit per Show.

3. Limit per Show must be higher than the Stand limit.

If not, you’ll see an error.

7. Set the Expiration

You have two options:

A) By Date

• Select an Expiration Date using the date & time picker.

Errors:

• Date can’t be in the past

• Date can’t be after the show ends

B) By Days Before Show Start

• Enter the number of days before the show begins.

8. Save the Discount Code

1. Click Submit.

2. The code appears in your list, showing:

   • Discount amount

   • Categories (if selected)

   • Usage limits

   • Expiration details
