FFAIR - ASP Integration

Understanding how the integration works and how to set it up.

There are two ASP integrations available on FFAIR:

  • FFAIR TO ASP
  • ASP TO FFAIR

 

FFAIR TO ASP

The FFAIR to ASP integration allows organisers to connect FFAIR with ASP's platform for managing exhibitor data. This integration ensures that exhibitor information is automatically transferred to ASP and provides Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality for exhibitors to access ASP without needing separate credentials.

 

Enabling the ASP Integration

  • Access Show Settings:

    • Navigate to the desired show in FFAIR.

    • Open the "Show Settings" page.

  • Retrieve FFAIR Show Credentials
    • Locate the API & SSO field
    • Click 'Edit' icon to open the credential pop-up
    • Here you will see the credentials you are required to provide to ASP. You can copy these and share with their support team via email.

  • Add ASP Credentials:

    • Locate the ASP integration field.

    • Click 'Edit' icon to open the credential input pop-up
    • Here you will see the credentials you require from ASP. Their support team can provide you with these.
    • Input the required credentials in FFAIR.
    • Hit 'Sync'

  • If any errors occur during the sync these will show on this same page. 

  • Exhibitors for this show will see a switcher on their FFAIR dashboard allowing direct access to ASP.

Adding the ASP SSO Link

To embed the ASP SSO Link into task descriptions:

  1. Navigate to the desired task or sub-task in FFAIR.

  2. Click on the 'ASP' icon on the icon ribbon to insert.
  3. Each exhibitor will now see their own unique link where you have added this.
  4. Once an exhibitor clicks the link, they will be taken to their ASP E-Zone, without needing to login to it separately.

The Magic Link can only be added to task or sub-task descriptions, not in other sections like 'Show Info'.

ASP - FFAIR SSO 

What is this integration?
ASP and FFAIR have worked closely to provide a tight integration between the two platforms. This now allows exhibitor data stored within ShowOff (ASP) to be reflected in the FFAIR platform, and exhibitors to seamlessly sign into FFAIR from within the show’s ASP Ezone.

How does it work?
Once the prerequisites and configuration have been completed, exhibitor data within ASP will be synced to FFAIR every 30 minutes. ASP then place a link within your ASP Ezone for exhibitors to sign into FFAIR. Exhibitors will be able to access your show’s FFAIR manual and complete any tasks within the platform.
