Release notes - FFAIR Scrum - 1.14.5

Latest Release Notes 04/2024

Improvements

  • Hide Package and Size if empty from the 'Your Package' section within the exhibitor dashboard and exhibitor settings page.
  • If there is no approval history provided yet, we won't show the Approval History button in the Task drawer.

  • In a task's event history, we no longer show task updates made by the organiser. This keeps the timeline clean, showing only exhibitor's updates.
  • We've updated the text in our automated 'Order received' email sent to exhibitors after they make a shop purchased, to provide more clarity.

New Features

We're excited to announce a brand new feature on FFAIR that puts the power of event personalisation in your hands: Custom Terminology

Now, you can override the previous terminology used throughout your FFAIR console to better align with your event requirements, and your audience.

The introduction of this feature is dual purpose:

  • It provides flexibility for a multitude of different event types.
  • It allows terminology to be set per Local

Customisation can be set at both the Show and Build/Persona type level, providing a huge amount of flexibility!

Here's the terms you can customise at these levels:

  • Show” Set a name which best suits your type of event, this could be “Conference”, “Expo” or “Publication” for example.
  • Exhibitor” Address your invitees and task assignees in a way that makes sense. You might have tasks for a “Speaker” or “Sponsor” to complete, and with this feature you can address them as such!
  • Stand” If your event doesn’t have stands, no need to confuse your invitees by referencing them. For US events use “Booth” for example.
  • Postcode” (Show Level Only) You can override this to Zip Code if required.

At the build/persona level, you can also hide stand size, stand number and open sides altogether.

By introducing this Custom Terminology feature, we’re opening up the possibilities of how you can use FFAIR - Learn more here

AUD currency

We’re thrilled to have added the Australian dollar to our growing list of supported currencies on FFAIR. This addition not only enables suppliers to list items in AUD but also opens up new opportunities for business in the Australian market. Exhibitors can now conveniently purchase items in their local currency.

Syncing packages to ASP through the JSON feed

By customer request we have now enabled exhibitor “Packages” type to be synced through our JSON feed to ASP.  This new addition allows you to accurately filter the actions available to your exhibitors on their ASP profile, based on the package they have been assigned in FFAIR
